2010.

Now that 2010 is less than a month away, time to think of some new years resolutions and think of some of the things i’m most excited for in 2010.

First, I’m going to get back into shape. Being behind a computer is probably the quickest way to get yourself out of shape, so starting in 2010 i will start working out on a regular basis.

There’s alot of cool things on my checklist for 2010. The one i’m most excited about is probably the opening of “the wizarding world of harry potter”(yes, i am a harry potter fan) at islands of adventure. I’m getting the annual pass to Universal Orlando as a Christmas gift so i’m going to guess that i’ll be at Island of adventure at least 3 or 4 times next year. Staying on topic, i’m also excited for November 19, 2010. That’s when the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows comes out in theaters. That movie will be epic. Speaking of movies, there are some pretty good flicks coming out in 2010, like Iron Man 2, the remake of a nightmare on elm street, and toy story 3.

I’m also going to look forward to warped tour in 2010 (hoping it’s not as bad as it was this year) and baseball season should be a fun one next season as well.

I’m hopeful in 2010 i could also do more charity work in South Florida. During 2010, i’ll be volunteering at Miami Children’s Hospital, reading to the little kids and talking to them and just hanging out. That is going to be a great opportunity for me, not only to help, but to hopefully inspire.

2010 looks like its going to be a fun one. 2009 was a good year, and i, myself have grown up a lot over a years time.  I hope in 2010 i could grow up some more, and hopefully change some lives, crack a few smiles, and inspire many.

these words.

“We make the sun shine” – a phrase often used in my vocabulary describing an intense and abrupt feeling that I wish to hold onto. I wish that I could describe the beauty in a sunset. I wish, oh how I wish. However, words as lonely, misguided and feeble as mine may come out. Why do they believe in me? Who knows? Maybe I was given a gift. It is there, but like so many things in life, it takes merely one thing, persistance…maybe if I switched focuses I would lose it. Me and my psycho analytical pretentious way of ruining everything that I touch. At least I make sense in my own head. Love will come, and in many forms. When I’m understood even through my muttering and dancing around my words in a stuttering two step. Or a simple sigh that can be read from the tips of my fragile fingertips down to my walked on, and always moving toes. In time? Haha…time ? Sometimes I don’t have enough, and other times I find myself drowning in it.

october.

October is filled with one of the more intriguing holidays. Halloween! A month filled with witches, pumpkins, candy, and lots more can sore above anything else that’s going on in the month of October. Well candy, and Halloween is all a microcosm of life’s perceptive for some people.

Halloween is nice, a pretty cool holiday, but in my eyes October should be given more credit for being Breast-Cancer Awareness month then the month that  Halloween is on.

I must agree the issue has been somewhat resolved, now in the world of sports you see athletes wearing pink wristbands, shoes, and on some rare occasions even sports teams will dawn pink uniforms to help support the fight against cancer.

i believe that everyone should help as much as they possibly can in this fight against cancer. Join the cause by donating towards various foundations out there and even if you don’t have money, you could always help in other ways like taking a walk for cancer, and running marathons for breast cancer. you could even start fundraiser for it and at simplest terms even help my being a show of support to those that have cancer and wear a small pink ribbon on you, or anything pink for that matter. If we all come together, one day, maybe one day we will make this world a better place, and fight this disease and helping to find a cure will change this world.

what i do.

I create more than websites, logos, art, and print media. I pave roads composed of coding and links entangled on a clean canvas of eventualities. The same road small business owner’s hope will keep their head afloat in this dismal affair. Or the comforting pavement chased by the promising journalist lusting for their own blog to call home.

I can design a postcard that can keep you in touch with even yourself, or construct a logo that appears to have been concocted with your very own DNA. But that really doesn’t cut it for me. See, it’s not about creating a website, or landing a lucrative corporate contract. It’s about making that postcard just right for the mom and pop shop down the road. It’s about giving you an image, and solidifying that image in whatever world your mind resides.

I make clean, accessible websites that are easy to use and easy on the eyes. I design print media that will take you, your company and your vision above whatever it was you expected. I will market your idea and help you legitimize your image.

My clients range from individual entrepreneurs to small and large businesses in need of a web presence, or a complete image overhaul. Whether it is a static five-page XHTML/CSS website, or a high-end database driven flash website, a new set of business cards, or a 300-page catalog, I will present you with a finished product fashioned in a whirlwind of wonder.

Quite frankly, I’m pretty OCD about my websites. I just don’t gel with mediocrity, and I’m no kin of the mundane. So sometimes I’ll start with one design, color combination, or layout and completely scrap it. I just want my clients to see themselves in their site. So much so, that I sometimes catch myself crossing my fingers in hopes that when they click “Home”, that’s exactly where they’ll be. I’ve done a lot of site for free for my friends (too many according to my bank account, but I beg to differ), believe me, it REALLY isn’t about the money with me. So yeah go ahead and take advantage of my “just to get the bills paid” prices.

My passion stems from my helpful nature, and nauseating desire to please whomever beckons. I make sure my clients get what they pay for, and then some. I plan on doing my best to change the world somehow (yeah, I’ve got a Gandhi complex like that). But most likely, I’ll just end up being the cause of a few cracked smiles. And that’s just fine with me.
